Weaving machine differentiation

Rapier loom: using rigid or flexible rapier heads, belts to grip and guide weft yarns. The rapier loom is not only suitable for weaving plain and textured fabrics, but also features convenient color changing and is suitable for multi colored weft fabrics. It is suitable for the production of color woven, double-layer velvet fabrics, looped fabrics, and decorative fabrics.

Jet loom: Using compressed air jets to pull the weft yarn through the shuttle opening. The biggest feature of jet looms is their fast speed and high labor productivity, suitable for plain and textured fabrics, fine and high-density fabrics, and bulk fabrics.

Advantages and disadvantages of raw fabric

1. There are generally many varieties of fine yarn in the production of jet aircraft, with high variety grades, mainly for light and thin fabrics; The rapier machine generally has a wide variety of coarse yarn types, with lower variety levels, mainly for heavy fabrics

3. Weaving the same fabric with the same raw material cost, the weaving cost is relatively low for jet weaving, such as diagonal weaving. The jet speed can reach up to 800 revolutions per minute, while the arrow shaft can only rotate around 180-200 revolutions per minute. Each jet blocking personnel can watch 10-12 units, while the maximum number of arrow shafts is 4-6 units.
